06:19 Sunday the 29th tones struck for T-121 to go to Lyme for a working structure fire. While in route Ladder 121 was started also. The fire was through the roof when the first units arrived and defensive ops went into action. Aerial master stream went into action when the squrt arrived and the blaze was brought under control in about 2 hrs.

Pumpkin Patch Fire Lake Hayward
Salem units were dispatched mutual aid to Town Rd East Haddam for a reported brush fire. Upon arrival car 221 found a large pile of pumpkins, pallets and about 15 bales of hay fully involved. Forestry 121 arrived and it was quickly apparent that more water was needed. Retones for engines went out and the blaze was contained in about 20 min.
